Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) is an inorganic 2 component elastomere material.
Different types reach Shore A hardness grades of 20 - 80 after
processing.
Applications: from baby
nipples to high-tech products
The history of LSR-injection moulding in larger scale started
in the early eighties, with baby nipples and pacifieres
as the first products on the market. Steady improvements
in the material properties have opened up more and new fields
of aplication. Today, LSR parts are used, among other fields,
in the automotive industriy, home appliances, the medical
industry as well as in electricity and electrinoics.
